Background[]
Smithers is an original character from The Land of Stories series. He only appears in The Wishing Spell, ch 9. He is a cart-man who takes Alex and Conner to the Charming Palace.
Appearance and Personality[]
Smithers tells the twins he grew up in a small village in the northeastern part of the Charming Kingdom. While they travel, he tells them a bit about the kingdom.
His only description in the book is that he wears a "big, floppy, green hat" and has a grey horse.[1]
